“ 1 Owner - Full Range Rover History ”

This 2016 HSE Sport has covered just 43,000 miles from new, when it cost its current owner nearly £69,000. That’s right, this is a one lady owner from new Range Rover.

On top of that it’s been meticulously serviced by Range Rover and is still under warranty (transferable to the new owner) that extends to 10 years or 100,000 miles. So at the risk of coming over all Arfur Daley, you can’t really go wrong with this one, Guv’nor.

Vehicle Story

With 2013’s L494, the Range Rover Sport came of age. Gone was the anachronistic separate chassis of its forebear, and in its place was a sophisticated all aluminium monocoque, shooting the range leading SUV to the very top of the mid-sized luxury 4x4 tree.

As the second generation of the Range Rover Sport, the L494 brought significant advancements in design, technology, and performance. It sits between the compact Evoque and the flagship Range Rover, catering to drivers who want a more engaging driving experience without compromising on the luxury and capability synonymous with the Range Rover brand.

From an exterior design standpoint, the L494 Sport maintains the distinctive Range Rover DNA, while adopting a more athletic and streamlined silhouette. The sloping roofline and sculpted lines give it a dynamic and youthful appearance, differentiating it from the more stately Range Rover.

Under the bonnet the L494 Range Rover Sport offers a range of powerful engine options, catering to diverse driving preferences. From fuel-efficient diesel engines to high-performance supercharged V8 petrol engines, the Sport provides an array of choices for customers seeking a blend of power and efficiency.

Advanced suspension systems, including air suspension, contribute to the Sport's adaptive and responsive driving dynamics, ensuring a smooth ride whether you’re in the Namibian desert or on the M25.

In terms of practicality, the Sport maintains versatility with its configurable seating options and ample cargo space. Whether it's a family road trip or an off-road adventure, the Sport adapts to different needs, making it a versatile choice within the Range Rover line-up.

Off-road capabilities are a hallmark of the Range Rover brand, and the Sport variant lives up to this legacy. With advanced four-wheel-drive systems, terrain response technology, and adjustable ride height, the Sport can confidently tackle challenging off-road conditions.

The model strikes a balance between on-road refinement and off-road capability, making it a compelling choice for those who desire a premium SUV that can handle a variety of driving scenarios.

This is a vehicle that caters to individuals who crave a more dynamic driving experience while still valuing the opulence and off-road capabilities associated with Range Rover. The Sport variant successfully marries luxury and performance, offering a compelling option for those seeking a versatile and high-performance top of the line SUV.

Vehicle Overview

This 2016 HSE Sport has covered just 43,000 miles from new, when it cost its current owner nearly £69,000. That’s right, this is a one lady owner from new Range Rover.

Full set of car rubber mats which have never been used.

This Sport’s silhouette exudes a sense of purpose, with a sleek and aerodynamic profile that sets it apart within the Range Rover line-up. The attention to detail is evident in every curve and contour, reflecting Land Rover's commitment to design excellence.

At the front, the iconic Range Rover grille takes centre stage, flanked by distinctive LED headlights that feature the brand's signature daytime running lights. The bonnet is sculpted with precision, hinting at the power and performance that lies beneath. The overall frontal design is bold and assertive, creating a commanding presence on the road.

The Aintree Green paintwork is in superb condition, as are the original alloy wheels. In fact it’s hard to fault the exterior at all. Sitting high up as it does, the Sport is largely immune to the stone chips and parking dints that lesser vehicles suffer from.

The flush door handles contribute to the vehicle’s aerodynamic efficiency while maintaining a clean and sophisticated aesthetic, while the rear is equally striking, featuring sleek LED taillights that seamlessly integrate with the design. The power tailgate adds a practical touch, providing convenient access to the spacious cargo area.

Dual chrome exhaust outlets hint at the SUV's performance capabilities, completing the dynamic look from every angle.

Interior

Inside the sumptuous and beautifully presented cabin you’ll find Oxford perforated leather finished in Ivory, which compliments the exterior hue perfectly in our view.

And the interior is a masterclass in luxury and functionality, providing a cosseting environment that seamlessly blends cutting-edge technology with exquisite materials. Stepping into the cabin, occupants are greeted with a sense of opulence and refinement that is a Range Rover hallmark.

Premium leather, composite veneers and brushed metal accents adorn the interior, creating an atmosphere of sophistication. The attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the design, from the meticulously crafted dashboard to the thoughtfully arranged controls.

The interior architecture is both modern and timeless, embodying a sense of traditional British craftsmanship while at the same time being bang up to date. The panoramic sunroof, with its electric blind, gives a wonderfully light and spacious feel in here.

It’s all in beautiful condition too. Seven years old? It could be seven months.

The centrepiece of the interior is the Touch Pro Duo infotainment system, featuring dual touchscreens that control everything from navigation and entertainment to vehicle settings.

This intuitive and responsive system adds a futuristic touch to the cabin while maintaining a user-friendly interface. The digital instrument cluster behind the steering wheel provides a customisable display, keeping drivers informed and in control.

In addition to the comfort and convenience features, the Sport is equipped with advanced safety and driver-assistance technologies. The vehicle ensures that occupants are not only surrounded by luxury, but also protected by state-of-the-art safety systems.

Whether navigating urban streets or exploring off-road terrain, the Sport's interior provides a cocoon of comfort and sophistication for its occupants.

Mechanical

This Sport has one of our favourite engine options, the turbo-diesel V6 which provides reassuring performance aplenty, while at the same time being quite capable of class leading fuel efficiency. This superb powerplant is complemented by an advanced transmission system – an eight-speed automatic transmission, which ensures turbine like power delivery, and effortless progress.

For those who want to venture off the pot-holed track, the Terrain Response system allows the driver to tailor the vehicle's performance to specific driving conditions, optimizing traction and stability on various surfaces.

The hight adjustable suspension system further adds to the Sport's versatility, allowing the vehicle to vary its ride height to tackle different terrains with ease.

The Sport’s under bonnet area is, unsurprisingly given the low mileage and full main dealer service history, in fine shape, with just some very slight deterioration in the silver paint on the engine cover to show for its time. But at this kind of mileage and with this service history that’s about all you’ll need to worry about.

Underneath, it’s fairly obvious that this Sport is yet to see any off-road action, as it’s as clean as a road-going whistle.

History Highlights

This Range Rover was first registered on November 7 2016. It comes with a full main dealer service history, with the most recent service being carried out in October this year.

This was a major service too, which included the fitting of a new timing belt, fuel pump belt, auxiliary drive belt, in addition to all the standard service items.

The Range Rover comes with the original build sheet, plus every service record and MoT certificate.

The vehicle also comes with Land Rover’s extendable warranty, which is transferable and runs for up to 10 years or 100,000 miles.

All paperwork and service records are included in a Land Rover Service pack rather than just being available electronically.

The vehicle even comes with the presentation box that the keys were in when it was new.

What We Think

If you’re looking for a Range Rover HSE Sport in superb condition, and at a fraction of the price it cost when new, we can’t imagine you need to look any further. This is a beautiful example of an iconic vehicle which even comes with a manufacturer’s warranty. What more could you want?
